Ingredients

1 cup red lentils
1 large onions
2 small potato
3 small carrots
2 cups chicken bouillon
2 tablespoons tomato
3 cloves garlic
1 10 sprigs fresh parsley
0.5 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika

Instructions:

Chop the onion and fry in an oily pot until it becomes golden. Peel carrots and potatoes and cut them into cubes and fry them with the onions.

Pour 2 cups of water or bouillon in your pot and wait until it comes to a boil. Now add the red lentils to cook.

You can add tomato paste to the soup to gain color after everything has cooked well. Now you can serve your soup.

Finally, mix everything with a potato masher or a mixer until they are combined well. You can use fresh parsley to decorate your soup.

Tips and tricks

  • It is better to soak the lentils in the water a few hours before you cook them and meanwhile change its water a couple of times.
